This wonderfully detailed owl features a gold tone body with a nicely feathered chest, textured wings with an openwork design, and huge turquoise colored eyes of glass. The turquoise eyes also have some black lines and marbling. A very striking and handsome fellow, and signed "DeNICOLA" within an oval cartouche on the back.
TIME PERIOD: circa 1960's - 70's
CONDITION: Good with a bit of metal wear on feathers, beak and ears. The pin bar and clasp are in great working order.
